PCR Swab Test
Pre-Departure COVID 19 PCR Swab Test is now available at all Etern Medical Clinics for adults and children from age 3 onwards as approved by the Ministry of Health (MOH).

After the test, you will receive your result via email or via personal collection within 12 to 24 hours. Do note that you are also required to print out a hard copy of the result and carry it along during your travel.

Etern Medical is pleased to inform that we have partnered with Parkway Laboratories and Accredify to issue Digital Health Certificate to facilitate a smoother process for clearance at the airport for international travel. The digital health certificate will be issued via email to designated email provided by you during booking. It will also be encrypted for the purpose of patient privacy.

Possible Results Outcome
If result is Positive
If the Pre-Departure COVID-19 PCR Swab Test result is positive, we advise that you contact the embassy or the airlines to check on the requirements regarding positive cases.
If results return as inconclusive
In that event, a repeat test may be conducted and is chargeable. Should this result affect your departure time, Etern Medical Clinic and/or the appointed laboratories vendor(s) shall not be held responsible or liable for any claims, damages, losses, expenses, costs or liabilities.
Delivery of Results
We will email your lab results and memo to you as soon as it is available. If the result is positive or inconclusive, we will contact you via phone or text messages. You are advised to print out and bring along the hardcopies of your results with you overseas.
1. I have checked the timeframe requirements of the destination countries I am travelling to, the travel lanes and the PCT testing window frame. I will not hold Etern Medical and the laboratory liable for any additional costs incurred should there be any rejections from the airlines, embassy and authorities if I have made the wrong appointment based on the country’s pre-arrival swab requirement time.
3. I understand that if my pre-departure test result returns as positive, I am not permitted to travel and MOH will be notified of my results.
